This Wednesday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m., the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum, with funding from the Florida Humanities Council, will host Part II of the four-part lecture series, “Crossroads of Exchange.” The itinerary, however, has changed. Dr. Roger Smith will be speaking this Wednesday on the Minorcan experience in New Smyrna as it relates to the British Empire. Dr. Smith is a Revolutionary War historian who has focused his studies on the British period of St. Augustine from 1774-1785. The lecture will take place in the upstairs gallery of the light keeper’s house and is free to the public.
