OK. We arrived at Hawks Cay Resort in the Florida Keys for the 2007 Florida Attractions Association Conference Tuesday night. Registration was on Wednesday and things started rolling from there.

Reps from all the major tourist attractions in the state meet each year to discuss the latest news in the industry, share stories, and celebrate Florida’s biggest industry. Thursday lunch was the annual passing of the gavel and buisness meeting, and Thursday evening we were treated to dinner at Theater of the Sea, with engaging and intimate preformances by parrots, dolphins, and sealions.

A terriffic evening with many friends from years past. Tomorrow we wrap up with our keynote speaker Josh Hallett, a nationally recognized social media consultant and founder of Hyku, LLC, as well as creator of our lighthouse blog. He was here last year on a panel with two other dudes talking about PR, and his presentation was so engaging that we brought him back and gave him the spotlight for the entire convention. The whole thing wraps up Friday afternoon. Saturday I am scooting down to Key West for the day with my wife before heading home on Sunday. Good times… good times.
