Education: Inspiring the Future

Summer Camp
We share the maritime culture and heritage of Northeast Florida with more than 43,000 school-age children each year through tours, field trips, and camps.
DONATE

Our youth educational programs provide engaging, hands-on activities such as traditional Minorcan cast-net making, ship model building, and artifact preservation for students in grades K-8. Many of the students who participate in our camp programs are at-risk students who receive scholarships. A donation of $300 will fund one scholarship student for one week of camp. Thank you for giving the gift of education and lifelong memories to a deserving child.

Support Maritime Research

Field School
Our maritime research program is a premier destination for college students seeking hands-on professional training in underwater archaeology.
DONATE

Our maritime research program is a premier destination for college students seeking hands-on professional training in underwater archaeology. We provide one of the few places in the world where students can receive the necessary education and training to become underwater archaeologists. By supporting this program with your donations, you empower the next generation of scientists to dive deep and explore how the sea connects us all.

Historic Preservation: Save History

The Museum continues to build on the legacy established by the Junior Service League of St. Augustine (JSL) by working to preserve all the historic structures on our Light Station property.
DONATE

Historical preservation includes the restoration and continuous maintenance of the 1874 Lighthouse Tower, 1876 Keepers’ House, two WWII-era buildings, the U.S. Coast Guard Coastal Lookout Building, and the U.S. Navy Beach Patrol Jeep maintenance garage, which served as part of the coastal response to WWII.

Save our Veterans’ Stories

Veteran
WWII Veterans pass away each day, and their stories are forgotten. That’s why there’s no time to waste! We must save their stories before they are lost FOREVER.
DONATE
Can we count on YOU to make a gift today? For every gift received, the name of your favorite veteran and their story will be added to our permanent collection to honor their service forever. Please share their story in the comment section.

Thanks to current Museum supporters.
