Summer Camp 2026

The Nation’s Oldest Port Summer Camp at St. Augustine Lighthouse offers an exciting and enriching experience for rising 1st – 5th graders, igniting their curiosity and fostering a love for exploration and learning. Spanning six weeks, each week is dedicated to a unique theme, led by experienced teachers who engage campers in STEAM activities, crafts, and educational adventures.

Summer Camp: 9 a.m. – 4 .p.m. Daily

Drop Off Begins at 8:45 a.m.

* Camp can be purchased with or without daily lunches. Pizza lunch will be provided for all campers on Fridays.
Camp with Lunch per week- $295
Camp without Lunch per week – $250

The Museum’s Summer Camp is led by teachers and camp counselors.

Campers learn and explore through hands-on activities and experiences based on state standards.

Purchase Includes: Weekly Field Trips, Camp Bag, Water Bottle, Daily Snacks, Camp T-Shirt & Bag, Daily STEAM Activities & Crafts, & Friday Pizza Lunch

Museum Members will receive a $20.00 discount on camp purchases.

June 2 – 5

FOCUS: Culture (*4-Day Week)

– Campers will explore how the city of St. Augustine has changed over its 450-year existence.

FOCUS: Navigation

– Campers will discover the evolution of communication technology and why it is relevant to maritime heritage.

“Storytellers of the Sea”

June 15 – 19

FOCUS: Archaeology

– Campers will learn how archaeologists use artifacts to understand the people of the past and tell their stories today.

FOCUS: Environment

– Campers will explore the exciting and complex ecosystems in and around St. Augustine.

FOCUS: Engineering

– Campers will discover the science and engineering behind the shipbuilding trade and traditions.

FOCUS: Conservation

– Campers will learn about the various forms of conservation, including maritime and environmental conservation.

Cancellation & Refund Policy St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

We reserve the right to combine or cancel classes that have not met the minimum enrollment. Campers will be placed in an alternative class when possible. If St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum cancels a class, the payment will be fully refunded. No refunds will be granted on or after the first day of the camp session. All registrations are subject to camp availability.
