WHY WORK AT ST. AUGUSTINE LIGHTHOUSE & MARITIME MUSEUM?

The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum (Museum) is a non-profit organization with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. In addition to the 1874 St. Augustine Lighthouse Tower, the Museum grounds include our Keeper’s House, WWII Gallery, Maritime and Archaeological Education Center (MAEC), retail store, boat builders program, and Tin Pickle café.

No matter the role, every Museum employee plays a critical role in fulfilling our mission to discover, preserve, present, and keep alive the stories of the Nation’s Oldest Port as symbolized by our working St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Our employees are passionate about their work and the opportunity to share our national treasure and grounds with visitors from all over the world. Employees enjoy an exciting and positive work environment, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Put your talents to use in a stimulating environment, where you can make a difference in our community and in preserving history.
