The St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum would love to have you as a volunteer! As a not-for-profit organization we rely on volunteers to help keep us standing tall and shining bright!

If you like to interact with visitors from around the world, help maintain a historic treasure, and be involved in your community, we have a place for you here!

Levels of Volunteer Recognition

KEEPER

After 40 hours of individual volunteer service, a volunteer will receive individual membership, good for one year, plus receive invitations to exhibits, special exhibition previews and a discount in the gift shop.

KEEPER'S FAMILY

After 60 hours of individual volunteer service, a volunteer wil receive a family membership, good for one year, plus benefits listed above for the member and his/her immediate family.

For All Volunteers: Other priveleges include the use of the museum library and staff kitchen, special events for volunteers, newsletters, uniforms, training and continuing education.

For CURRENT LAMP Volunteers:  Download the LAMP Volunteer Sign-In Sheet. Download the LAMP Volunteer Sign-In Sheet.  All LAMP volunteers should use this form so that we can keep track of your hours and activities, which is very important to us as it can help generate grant funding in support of our program. You can simply download it, fill it out on your computer, and email it to cmeide@staugustinelighthouse.org with the subject heading "LAMP volunteer hours for [your name]".
